The guide illustrates the discoveries made over the past fifty years at one of the most interesting sites in the Sardinian and Mediterranean archaeological landscape. The Mont'e Prama area is notable for the presence of an extensive necropolis of shaft tombs. Some tombs covered by stone slabs likely housed sculptures—warriors, archers, and boxers, models of nuraghe, and betyls—built in the Iron Age (9th-8th centuries BC), which were demolished and found facedown on the ground.
