Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, April 23, 1983 - September 6, 1983.
This book was originally published to accompany a show at the Fogg Museum at Harvard University of the pieces shown in this book.
It is a thin book of large glossy pages. Each bronze vessel is given an entire color page and the photos are crystal clear and show well the detail for which these bronze objects are famous.
It comes with an informative text which is academic but not dry along with a chart showing how the various ritual objects evolved in design and ornamentation over the years. The book also comes with illustrations showing how these technologically complex objects were made over 3000 years ago.
Usato ottime condizioni, strappetti alla sovraccoperta. (T-CA)
